Use the simulation core externally

With virtualTNC, the simulation core of the HEIDENHAIN programming station can be integrated into external CAD, CAM, or NC simulation systems. Position values and machining times are precisely calculated, allowing NC programs to be realistically simulated.

Real-time position data

The virtualTNC software transmits axis positions in real time to Windows PCs, thereby allowing machine movements and machining processes to be analyzed, optimized, and represented in external simulations within a fraction of the actual machining time.

JHIOsim for virtual setup of hardware

JHIOsim simulates real machine hardware on virtual controls. Components such as a chip conveyer, a hydraulic system, or the door of a tool changer can be tested, thereby saving machine manufacturers time and increasing the quality of the PLC software.

Efficiency through a turbo factor

The simulation speed can be adjusted as needed via a turbo factor. This enables fast processes, optimized program testing, and the early detection of problems even before the real-world machine is set up.
