Short measurement distances

The PP 6000 provides position feedback for two axes with just one encoder. Thanks to its two-dimensional scanning design, measurement distances are short, thereby reducing adverse effects and significantly increasing accuracy.

High-accuracy scanning

The PP 6000 two-coordinate encoder uses interferential scanning. Its scale consists of a phase grating on a glass ceramic graduation carrier. Exceptional accuracy and a very small measuring step are among the encoder's features.

Multidimensional feedback

With two scanning heads and a wide-area phase grating on a graduation carrier, measurements in up to three degrees of freedom are possible. This technology makes complex measuring tasks easy through a single compact design.

EnDat 3 interface

The PP 603 scanning head can measure in two degrees of freedom at the same time. With the EnDat 3 data interface, the two resulting position values can be transmitted to the downstream electronics with single-cable convenience.
